Recently I wanted to take more street photos. Because everyday I travel by train from my house to my job place there are lots of opportunities to take some good photos. The only problem? Well my Canon 7D+18-135 EFS is a little bit big and heavy to carry out every day for 1 hour travel. So I decided to buy a new small camera. Looking in the second hand market I found a canon series G, exactly the G9. Reading the spec the camera, even if old, seems really good and has also the opportunity to take Raw photos. The price I found it was great and the camera has only 1500 shutter actuation that makes it like new. Plus there is also the opportunity to install the CHDK to get some new functions.
First impression the camera was good, focus fast, good body. So I started to take some photos. Looking at the LCD the idea that I had was just mmmm why I bought this camera? But because the same idea I had when I bought the 7D (that now I really love!) I decided to keep taking photos and giving to this little camera another chances. Finally after one week and just few taken photos I decided to check them on photoshop. Well I have to change my idea. The photos are really good and the quality is better than I expected!
