Today I want to do a little bit of DIY, something easy and close to 0 yen (or euro or dollar). All you need is your camera with popup flash and a white film canister like the photo below
Next step is popup your popup flash and with a marker trace on the canister the shape of it
and with a pair of scissors cut on the entire side (to better fix my Canon 7D popup flash i had to cut a little bit of cap too)
Now just glue the cap with the canister and you have your flash diffuser. Put it on your popup flash and take photos! You can notice the difference in the photos below (without first, with second).

The effect in a portrait is even better! So if you can`t afford a flash, or you need an extra one or simply the batteries of your flash are empty when you need them well, this easy and free solution can help you ^^
