FUJIFILM TX-1

After long long long time I`m here again to update my size. The reason is because I moved from digital to film. That means that after developing it I need to scan and here we are. The scan I used is the HP Photosmart s20, nice old film scan but that works only on windows till XP version. For a Mac user going back to windows is really hard but the result was good enough to do that. Regarding film camera this time I used the Fujifilm TX-1 (http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Fujifilm_TX-1).

The great feature of this camera is that can take panorama photos. Everyone can say, that is not something so special, because lots of old cameras could do that….yes right but the BIG difference is that this camera and the black twin Hasselblad Xpan uses 2 frames instead of reduce the single frame. When I got this camera with the 45mm F4 I was thinking what film could I use to get a better result from this camera? I decided for slide film and especially for the Fuji Provia 100s for the colors and the result. After 3 rolls this is the selection.

Moving back to film change a lot the way of taking photos. Full manual camera let you to have more control of the result and you need to think more about the subject you want to take and sometimes it is pretty difficult especially for street photography when the timing is really. Also the emotion for waiting for the photos to be developed  is something great! Try it and your photography will improve and you will experienced a new way of enjoy photography.
