This week during my summer holiday I climbed Mount Haku (2700m) in Ishikawa prefecture. Compared with Fujisan was easier to climb in my opinion and I had the opportunity to take some photos from the top of the mountain.
Due the 2700m I wanted to try to take some stars photos. The result for the first time was not bad and gave me the opportunity to take the Milky Way and to try the star trail technique. I used my Canon 7D+18-135 EFS lens on manual mode focused on manually infinite, set the remote control with blocker to let the camera being open for a couple of minutes, F 11 and ISO 800-1600 to try to reduce noise. For the star trail I just kept the camera open for 800 secs
